A warm welcome to the Wholesome Osteopathy clinic in South West London.

The principal osteopath is Rachel, who graduated from The British School of Osteopathy. She has a passion to support patients with acute and chronic issues such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, headaches, sports injuries and pregnancy related issues.

Rachel's approach to supporting the musculoskeletal wellbeing is extensive and therefore aims to take you from a state of injury and discomfort to a far more balanced and pain-free quality of life. Rachel's osteopathic approach is a combination of structural, cranial and functional. She also incorporates medical acupunture and taping into her treatment if herself and the patient feel this modality of treatment is suitable.

"I felt extremely confident"

My 13 year old benefited greatly from Rachel's fantastic guidance on how to improve her posture and ease her lower back pain through simple exercises. I felt extremely confident letting my daughter go through assessment and treatment with this highly professional individual.

"Professional yet friendly manner"

Rachel treated our son as a new born, being naturally concerned parents we were made to feel at ease by her professional yet friendly manner. She assessed him gently and considerately explained what was wrong and what she was doing to us and the baby, step by step. Our beautiful baby boy enjoyed the sessions and made a rapid recovery from the stressful birth by correcting his posture and assisting him to grow without surgery or medication. For this we are forever thankful.

A therapeutic modality involving the insertion of fine needles.  It acts mainly by stimulating the nervous system, muscles and connective tissue, increasing blood flow while at the same time triggering the activity of our own body's natural painkillers.

Taping (eg Dynamic)

Is used to alter dysfunctional movement patterns whilst providing support. Tissues (e.g ligaments & muscles) do not fail due to pain they fail due to load. Taping absorbs a percentage of the load reducing the tissue from becoming overloaded, enable patients to carry out their daily tasks.

Sports Massage
